Trump is reportedly preparing to accept a $400 million plane from Qatar following production delays for a new Air Force One. The report alleges that one of the conditions of the gift is that the plane gets transferred to Trump's presidential library foundation, which will enable Trump to continue using the plane for his personal travel. The US Air Force will pay for modifying the plane to US military specifications via taxpayer funds.
Trump's Attorney General, Pam Bondi, sent a memo to the White House counsel stating the transfer was legal under US law. Bondi was previously a foreign lobbyist for Qatar, where she was paid $115,000 per month.
